How to use the word finder
Type every letter on your rack into the box — order doesn't matter. If you're holding a blank tile, add a ? for each one; the finder will treat it as a wildcard that can stand in for any letter. Set a minimum word length if you only want to see longer, higher-scoring plays, then hit Find words. Results are sorted by Scrabble point value by default, so the best plays surface first.

Frequently asked questions
- Does this work for Words With Friends too?
- Yes — WWF and Scrabble share almost the same valid-word lists for everyday play, so the same word finder works for both. Tile point values differ slightly between the two games; this tool uses standard Scrabble values.
- What does the question mark do?
- Each ? you add represents a blank tile, which can substitute for any single letter. The finder will use it to complete words your actual letters can't form on their own.
- Why isn't a word I know showing up?
- The finder checks against a curated common-word dictionary rather than the full tournament Scrabble word lists, so some valid but less common words won't appear yet. It's aimed at everyday play rather than competitive judging.
